Here at Jo’s Cakes our aim is to create the perfect centrepiece for your event, be it a bespoke wedding cake or a celebration cake with the “wow” factor. We will work closely with you to ensure that all your requirements are met and you are delighted with the final cake. If you have an idea in mind for your cake, please email us and we would be happy to provide you with a no obligation quote for producing something similar, if not better! Please browse through our Wedding Cakes, Celebration Cakes and Cupcakes pages for inspiration but please be aware that this is only a small sample of the cakes we can produce – the only limit to what can be made is your imagination!

About Us
Jo’s Cakes is the idea of Jo, surprisingly enough! After years of making cakes for family and friends with very favourable results, her own wedding in 2009 inspired Jo to start up her own small business from home. “I was amazed at how expensive wedding cakes were, so I decide to start up on my own, creating wonderful wedding cakes without the crazy price tags and with no compromise on quality!” said Jo. And Jo’s Cakes was started! Since then the business has grown steadily and Jo is now well known throughout Huddersfield, Halifax and the surrounding areas of West Yorkshire for producing delicious cakes for all occasions, be it weddings, christenings, birthdays etc. Customers come from as far afield as London and we even get requests to ship our cakes abroad (but unfortunately we can’t!).
We are compliant with Kirklees Council's requirements and Jo has Level 2 C&G Food Safety in Catering qualification. Every cake is made to Jo's exacting high standards, and is baked entirely from scratch. Jo's Cakes is proud to be a gay friendly supplier for wedding and other cakes.
Not having an actual shop allows us to keep our overheads down and we can therefore pass these savings on to you, the customer. Your cake is very important to us and we will do all we can to make sure you are happy with our service.
